Overview
- CedarHouse Hair Studio is a full-service hair salon of independent stylists located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, WA founded by stylist–Catherine Casabianca.
- With a new location and store-front on the horizon, we saw a fun opportunity to refresh the studio’s brand identity and website.
Primary Objectives
Design a fun, unique, yet professional website that can be implemented on the client’s preferred web host/builder (Wix)
Minimize website maintenance by pulling images from social media channels and design simple elements for the client to be able to update changes to the website on their own
Design a page for users to learn about each independent Stylist, view examples of their work, and book an appointment
Showcase a product page displaying haircare products that can be purchased via external, commission-based links

Gallery
Utilizing Wix’s API integration capabilities, a simple page was was designed to showcase the studio’s ongoing feed of beautifully photographed images from their main touchpoint–Instagram.

Stylist Profiles
The integration may also be used for the Stylists page as a way to showcase examples of each independent Stylist’s work thus, providing a great way for users to discover and view each Stylist’s strengths and capabilities.

Product Profiles
A product page was also designed for providing affiliate links to purchase professional hair-care products online, while supporting the salon.

Contact Page
A simple Contact page was designed with a location map, address, parking information, and the owner’s direct email and phone number.

Responsive Design
Lastly, designs were drawn to present how the layouts could be best scaled down and adjusted for mobile @375px within the limitations of the preferred website builder.
